Maglor always has been my favorite son of Feanor. More level headed and compassionate than his brothers, it seems, and also one of the greatest poets and musicians of middle earth.
As far as the picture itself, I am in love with the purple color I used in the background here. I also used it extensively in my painting of Aredhel, also in my gallery. The color itself is moonglow by Daniel Smith www.danielsmith.com/Item--i-28…, and it's a beautiful greyed violet with shades of green, pink and blue that show through as the color granulates and dries.
